2011Minimize

The Road Safety Foundation will continue to work with corporates, their employees and, as a key strategy for 2011, focus on key responsibilities of individual road users.

Each individual that puts up their hand to behave in a responsible manner on the roads, takes us one step closer to safe roads.

Let's work together to make our roads safe!

We live in a residential area in the town of Robertson in the western cape. Often drivers will exit vehicles and urinate on the verge, a clear no-no, on the very trees they have just broken abranch off with their machines. Where do we stand

Student PSA project
Hi My name is Fuad. I am a second year film student at CPUT Bellvile Campus. For this term we have a project, where we have to work with an actual organisation and produce a PSA for them. My PSA topic is about the dangers of texting while driving and my PSA is aimed at young adults. The reason for this is because, my generation cannot live without their cellphones and texting, today there are so many mobile applications that need users to text. Some of these applications are Facebook, BBM, Mxit and Twitter. These applications or social networks can be very addictive and result in people using them while they are driving. I know that adults are also doing this but it is more prominant in the lives of young adults. What alarms me is that there are not many organisations and people that warn young adults and adults alike of the dangers of texting while driving. This is why I chose this topic and another reason for me choosing this topic is because I know people that are very close t

Maybe your mission is roadsafety in the certain groups within the society and the community of South Africa. Thank you for your co-operation Regard

Aucor Trucks in Residential zone
Hi I live in a complex called Summit View in Blue Hills Ext-22 in Midrand. The complex is 90% completed and the developer rented his vacant land next to the comlex to Aucor for Heavy vehicle auction. Those heavy vehicles are parked on comlex drive way during night, Trucks use our drive way to get in to their auction site. Oil leaks from the trucks make marks on our drive way, can you please advice on how to get rid of Aucor from the site. I guess business is prohibited in residential zone. Thanks in advance. Sreeni
